24 Hour Locksmith
Genuine overnight, weekend and holiday attendance from a rostered technician rather than an answering service.
Rostered overnight cover for Morrison, IL
Doors fail at inconvenient hours. Our overnight rotation puts named technicians on the road through the night, at weekends and on public holidays, carrying the same equipment as the day crew.
Advertising a 24 hour service is easy. Staffing one is not. The difference shows at two in the morning, when a caller either speaks to a dispatcher who can send somebody or listens to a recording promising a call back after breakfast. We took the view early on that if the claim is on the website, the roster has to exist behind it.
So it does. Technicians take scheduled overnight and weekend blocks, each shift opens with a van check so the vehicle leaves fully stocked, and a dispatcher is on the line for the duration. Public holidays are staffed more heavily rather than less, because demand climbs precisely when other trades close.
Emergencies are also graded rather than queued in the order they arrive. A caller locked out of a running vehicle with a child inside, or a business left with a forced door and an open unit, moves ahead of a non urgent call. Most people, told why, think that is the right way round.
The calls that cannot wait until morning, each handled by technicians carrying the stock to finish the job on the spot.

Comments from callers who needed somebody at an hour when most trades are closed.
The back door of the shop was forced some time after midnight. They attended within the hour, boarded and secured the opening, and had a new cylinder in by the time I opened for trade.
Key snapped in the lock on Boxing Day with family arriving. I genuinely expected nobody to answer. Somebody did, and the fragment was out and a new key cut within ninety minutes.
My daughter was locked out at two in the morning and I was on the other side of the country. They spoke to her calmly, arrived quickly and stayed until she was inside with the door locked.

There is an out of hours element, which is standard in the trade. It is quoted before dispatch so you can decide while still on the phone.
Say so immediately. Those calls are escalated at once, and in genuine distress cases emergency services should be called alongside us.
Changed. Night vans carry cylinder and latch stock specifically so a property can be made secure without waiting for daylight.
